Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) Rival to Redmi Note 5 Pro Launched In India With 5000mAh Battery, Stock Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 636: Price In India, Features and Specifications

ASUS has launched the mid-range Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India on 23rd April 2018 which is a rival to Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro. The device highlights with its stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS and is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC like the Redmi Note 5 Pro has. The device is specifically built for India and is exclusively made available on Flipkart from May 3rd.


Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Camera and Storage:

The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 5MP camera that captures portrait shots. On the front, it sports an 8MP front-facing camera with soft LED flash, f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video calls. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 packs a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both storage variants can be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Platform and Display:

The smartphone has a unibody metal design that runs on stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) and a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU. The right side of the handset has the power button and volume rocker. The back of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has a fingerprint scanner in the centre.



There is a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution. The device measures 159x 76x 8.46mm and Weight: 180g.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 packs a 5000mAh battery with fast charging technology using 10W fast charger that charges the phone in just 2 hours and 42 minutes. Connectivity options on the Dual SIM (nano + nano) device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 5-magnet speaker, microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price In India:

The 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs.10,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant costs Rs.12,999. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) comes in Black and Gray color options. The company also has a plan to launch the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant with a 16MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera for Rs. 14,999 soon.
