Xiaomi has released an update for its recently launched Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India. The Face Unlock feature will start working on the phone after this update. During the launch of the phone on 14th February 2018, Xiaomi had said that the update will be released for Face Unlock till the end of March, but the company has issued updates, without delaying it.
On the Face Unlock, Xiaomi claims that it is faster than the fingerprint sensor given in the phone. Coming to the first sale of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro on Thursday, the company claimed that 3 lakh units of Redmi Note Pro were sold in just 3 minutes.

How To Get Face Unlock Feature Update On Redmi Note 5 Pro:
Those who purchased the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro during the first sale on February 22, will get the access to Face Unlock feature out of the box. To manually check for the update, open Settings tab and click on System updates.
