Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Edition Renders to Launch Soon With Bigger 8GB RAM, MIUI 9 and Snapdragon 825: Rumoured/Leaked Imaged Appeared on TENAA

Xiaomi promised that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Variant would be launched soon. Now, the special model of the Mi MIX 2 has shown on the TENAA page.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 premium version will pack the same specifications like the previous Mi MIX 2. With a more premium body wrapping, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Ceramic release will also be more costly.

Moreover, some new technology is required on the ceramic model. There are the chances that the Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Edition will be equipped with 8GB of bigger RAM and 128GB of internal memory.  The device offers a 5.99-inch 18:9 (2160 × 1080 pixels) FullHD screen display and a Snapdragon 825 powers the smartphone.

The smartphone rumoured to run on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. The device is expected to pack a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The leaked image shows that the back of the smartphone packs a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.

According to Xiaomi, the ceramic body has passed extreme testing, exposed to a temperature up to 1400 degrees Celsius for 7 days and weighed up to 240 tons. The previous Mi MIX 2 is a mixture of ceramics and metal. Now, the premium variant is equipped with the metal body which is more affordable. So, the buyers are disappointed. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Edition will be sold in China at a price of CNY 4,699 (approx Rs 46,000 / $710).
