Micromax has launched its first 4G VoLTE feature phone called Bharat-1 in India in partnership with the telecom operator BSNL to counter Reliance Jio’s JioPhone. The Bharat 1 4G VoLTE feature phone will be available in the market starting from October 20 and is priced at Rs 2200.
Micromax Bharat-1 Specifications:
The device comes with a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA display. The Bharat 1 sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP (VGA) front camera. A 2000mAh battery is powers the device. The Micromax Bharat 1 4G VoLTE feature phone packs a 512 MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expandable with microSD.
It features with pre-loaded entertainment apps such as Movies, Live TV, Music, and Videos. The Dual SIM 4G VoLTE feature phone is powered by 1.1GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm 205 (MSM8905) with Adreno 304 GPU. The connectivity options on the device are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1 LE, GPS and USB 2.0.
BSNL Aggressive Rs 97 Data Plan:
The new BSNL-promoted Bharat-1 4G VoLTE feature phone, which is being called the 'Desh ka 4G phone', will come with "Unlimited Voice Calls" and "Unlimited High-Speed Data" at just Rs. 97 tariff plan from BSNL.
