Honor 6 Play Budget Smartphone With 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE, 3020mAh Battery, 8MP Camera Launched: Price, Specifications and Features

Along with the Honor V9 Play, Huawei’s Honor Brand also launched the Honor 6 Play in China. The device will on sale from September 12. The smartphone comes in White and Gold colour options.

The Honor 6 Play features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage capacity that can be expandable using a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 and the device is equipped with 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T chipset processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The device measures 143.8x72x8.85mm and weigh 150 grams.

The Honor 6 PLay packs a 3020mAh battery. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front shooter with f/2.4 aperture for taking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, USB 2.0, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The smartphone is priced at CNY 599 (approx Rs. 5,899) and will be made available for purchase in China from Thursday.
