LG K8 (2017) With 5-Inch HD display, 4G VoLTE Support Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features

LG announced the new mid-range smartphone in its K series named LG K8. The LG K8 2017 (X240) smartphone is priced at Rs.11,000 on the online stores. While there is no official announcement from LG, the website states that the device is available in offline stores. The smartphone has been made available in Gold and Blue colour variants.
The LG K8 features a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The LG K8 (2017) sports a fingerprint scanner at the back below the camera sensor which helps you in unlocking the device with your fingers. LG K8 2017 comes with the plastic body while recent phones are offering metal unibody smartphones. The device measures 147.10 x 72.50 x 8.20 and weighs 144.00 grams.

A Tweet by the Mumbai smartphone retailer Mahesh Telecom claims to be offering LG K8 smartphone for purchase offline at Just Rs.9,999.
The LG K8 (2017) runs on Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2,500mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 16 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expandable up to 32GB using a MicroSD card slot.

The LG K8 (2017) packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear for capturing images and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter for taking selfies and video calling. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, A-GPS, and micro USB 2.0 port. Sensors on board include proximity and accelerometer.
