Xiaomi has launched a new flagship at an event held in New Delhi, named the Mi Max 2 in India today. The first Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sale will be held on Thursday, July 20th at 12 PM on both Mi.com (online) and Mi Home (offline) stores. If you missed the sale on 20th July no need to worry the smartphone will become available for purchase again on Friday, July 21st. Xiaomi for Mi Max 2 has joined hands with Reliance Jio to offer 100GB addition data on recharge of 309 or more. The smartphone is priced at Rs.16,999
The new Max 2 highlights a 6.44-inch IPS full-HD display and 3rd Generation Corning Gorilla Glass layered on top. It boasts with metal unibody, 5,300 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0, 4GB RAM, Dual speakers with stereo effect and 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX386 sensor. The company reported that all the units of Mi Max 2 sold in India would be made locally as part of the Make in India initiative.

Regarding specifications, The Mi Max 2 is fueled by a 14nm based Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset which is combined with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. The device packs with a 12-megapixel primary camera for capturing perfect images even in low light conditions and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front for taking beautiful selfies.
A 2GHz octa-core processor fuels the smartphone. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (highlights with a Split Screen feature). The device comes with a big display of 6.44-inch full-HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels resolution for a better media and gaming experience. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster for remote functionality.
The device sports with a Hybrid slot (Supports Nano-SIM, Micro-SIM, or Micro SD card). The connectivity options include in the device are Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, USB Type-C cable and 4G VoLTE.
